Con lo strumento di sviluppo basato sul web Codesys Go!, Codesys intende colmare il divario tra l'OT classico e lo sviluppo IT moderno. La soluzione indipendente dalla piattaforma consente per la prima volta l'integrazione perfetta della programmazione IEC nelle pipeline CI/CD e nei flussi di lavoro DevOps. Nell'intervista, Roland Wagner, Leo Bareth e Martin Decker spiegano perché Go! non è in concorrenza con il consolidato V3, ma piuttosto un suo complemento, e come il runtime identico per entrambi gli strumenti garantisca la piena compatibilità.

Codesys Go – what is it and how does it differ from the proven Development System V3?
Roland Wagner: The Codesys Development System V3 is and remains our established workhorse with an enormous range of functions. Codesys Go! will complement it, not replace it. But V3 is a pure Windows tool—it runs on Linux at most in a VM. That's no longer enough today. Go!, on the other hand, is consistently platform-independent: the backend runs on Windows or Linux, the frontend in the browser. You can even install the backend directly on a powerful controller!
