The solution enables the engineering of safety-related applications in the same environment as the standard controller. This reduces retraining and engineering costs and simplifies scaling, commissioning and maintenance. The focus is currently on the x86 version, with an ARM version due to be released in 2026. Typical fields of application for Virtual Safe Control are modular production lines, robotic cells and special machines with changing configurations, but use in other applications is also conceivable. The end-to-end toolchain from engineering to safety libraries, configuration of FSoE and Profisafe communication and commissioning of the virtual control systems will be demonstrated at the trade fair stand.
