Toolkit Updates

You have purchased a CODESYS Toolkit to implement, extend or customize a CODESYS product. Updates are available to you as part of your contract.

Quick guide: How to create an update request on the CODESYS Helpdesk

Go to https://helpdesk.codesys.com/servicedesk/customer/portal/17 and log in with your access data.

Alternatively: Go to the CODESYS Helpdesk homepage at https://helpdesk.codesys.com/servicedesk/customer/portals, log in and then click on "Runtime Services".

Here you have three options to choose from:

1. general request

For general inquiries

2. runtime update

If you need a new or different version of the runtime system.

Example: You have version V3.5.19.0 on your device and need the latest version

3. change the runtime configuration

when you make a change to your device.

Examples: Adding or removing a license or a function, changing the toolchain or the device screen.

After you have filled in the following input masks and sent them with "Create", we will process your request as soon as possible. In the CODESYS Helpdesk, you can see which requests you have created at the top right next to your user information. Your update request is given a unique number with the prefix RTSV. All further process steps are documented under this number.

Please note!

If you require an update for the Automation Platform or the PLC handler, please create a separate case. This means: Please do not combine the request with the runtime update!

You will be informed about all possible updates to your RTSV process directly in the CODESYS Helpdesk and by e-mail.
