The CODESYS Development System as an integrated development environment (IDE) for programming industrial control systems is the core product for implementing automation tasks. It supports the programming languages defined in the international standard IEC 61131-3 and offers extensive tools, for example for debugging, visualization, or the configuration of various control functions. You can extend the CODESYS Development System with add-on components to make the engineering of your tasks even more effective.

The CODESYS runtime products are the basis for configuring intelligent automation devices with CODESYS. These include SoftPLC solutions for a wide range of standard platforms such as industrial PCs as well as devices and boards based on x86 and ARM CPUs. Common, manufacturer-specific device platforms such as PFC100, emPC or PLCnext are also supported. These SoftPLCs provide you with a flexible and hardware-independent alternative to traditional PLC systems. New are virtual controllers that run device-independently on containerized platforms - even multiple times on one device if required and with the corresponding performance reserves. And it doesn't matter whether they are industrial or IT systems. This enables OT-IT convergence.

With CODESYS Visualization, you can create user-friendly user interfaces and HMIs (Human Machine Interfaces) directly in the CODESYS Development System. These visualizations can be displayed on different platforms such as panels, PCs and even HTML5 browsers - even in parallel if required. This provides you with flexible monitoring and operation of processes.

With this extension to the CODESYS Development System, you can implement the project planning and control of coordinated axis movements and robot applications. CODESYS Motion CNC Robotics supports functions such as cam plates, CNC path control, interpolation, and the integration of robot kinematics.

The CODESYS safety products provide you with comprehensive and tested safety software that you can use immediately in your systems. The products include "CODESYS Safety for EtherCAT Safety Module", a SIL3 safety solution for Safety EtherCAT^® terminals and the hardware-independent "CODESYS Virtual Safe Control SL", a virtual safety controller in accordance with IEC 61508 SIL3.

Configure and use classic and Ethernet-based fieldbus systems such as PROFINET, CANopen^®, EtherCAT or Modbus directly in the CODESYS Development System. You can seamlessly read and write the variable values of the connected fieldbus devices in your application.

Realize the data exchange between CODESYS-based controllers and other participants in your infrastructure via different communication protocols. CODESYS provides you with products for OPC UA, MQTT or DNP3, among others.

The CODESYS Automation Server is a cloud-based platform for managing and monitoring automation systems. It allows you to perform many daily tasks much more conveniently, such as the central management and remote monitoring of controllers, the import of application updates, or the analysis and recording of variable data.

Competent training is available at the CODESYS Academy - from basic introductory courses to specialized workshops in areas such as motion control, visualization, and safety. The range of services also includes technical support, advice for automation projects, and tailored solutions for system optimization.
